We love the Samsung T7 Shield for its scorching-fast performance, even if it’s been surpassed in raw speed by other portable SSDs. And right now, Amazon’s still selling the 4TB model at a whopping 50 percent off—its Cyber Monday price is just $200, matching its all-time low price.
If you don’t need quite as much space, the 2TB and 1TB versions ($120 and $80, respectively) are also on sale, but not as deeply discounted.
With an IP65 rating, the Samsung T7 Shield stands up better against water spray and particulates compared to the standard T7 model, as well as its rivals. So, while you can find faster options (like the Crucial X9 Pro, our current best pick overall for external SSDs), this is a better choice if you work out in the field.
If you like this hot deal, don’t wait too long. Other SSD deals have been selling out during the week, and while the Samsung T7 Shield has been the exception, that may not last forever. You can also check out all the top SSD and storage deals happening now (including internal drives) in our roundup of the best Cyber Monday SSD and storage deals.
